PCBA production process


1、 SMT (surface mounted technology)

1. Place PCB board, PCB circuit diagram is generally designed by customers themselves;

2. Printing, its function is to leak solder paste or paste to the pad of PCB, to prepare for the welding of components. The equipment used is a printing machine (solder paste printer), which is located in the front end of SMT production line;

3. The function of mounting is to accurately install the surface assembly components to the fixed position of PCB. The equipment used is mounter, which is located behind the printer in SMT production line;

4. The function of curing is to melt the chip adhesive, so that the surface assembly components and PCB board are firmly bonded together. The equipment used is curing furnace, which is located behind the SMT production line;

5. Reflow soldering: its function is to melt the solder paste, so that the surface assembly components and PCB board are firmly bonded together. The equipment used is reflow soldering furnace, which is located behind the SMT production line;

6. AOI inspection, using visual processing technology to automatically detect various mounting errors and welding defects on PCB.


2、 Dip (dual in line package)

1. Plug in, that is, welding other parts that cannot be installed on the mounter;

2. In this process, rosin promoter should be added to accelerate the melting of glue and tin;

3. ICT test, an on-line static test equipment for circuit board, mainly tests open and short circuit, resistance, capacitance, inductance, diode, triode, transistor, IC and other components;

4. Ate test is similar to ICT test, the difference is that ate can conduct functional test after power on;

5. In FCT test, appropriate excitation is applied to the UUT: unit under test, and whether the output response meets the requirements is measured. After ICT and ate tests;

6. FAE is used to rework the PCB board which is detected to be faulty, that is, to overhaul the ng board. Configuration in any position in the production line.


3、 Assembly

Simply put, it is to assemble the scattered (compatible) computer accessories into a complete set of machines. After the assembly is the general inspection, packaging, warehousing.
